We are sorry to hear that you have discovered blood on the swab after collecting your sample. Sadly, the blood can act as an inhibiting factor and reduce the ability for your sample to be sufficiently extracted and genotyped.
To ensure that we are able to provide you with the best results and minimise any delays that could be caused with your testing, we are going to ask you to re-take your sample.
We will now arrange for a brand new testing kit to be sent to you. So that we can do this, please contact the help desk and confirm the best delivery address where the kit should be sent (signature may be required for delivery) and provide us with a contact telephone number for the courier. Please note that standard couriers do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
