How do I download my raw data?

If you have taken a Living DNA test you will be able to download your raw data for free. This includes autosomal, mTDNA and Y-DNA. 

To do this, please follow these steps;

1. Log into your Living DNA account my.livingdna.com

2. Click on the name on the top right corner of the screen- this reveals a drop-down menu. Select "Profiles."

3. You will see all of your profiles listed on the left. Select the profile you’d like to download data for.

 4. The Download button is next to the profile name and picture (if you’ve uploaded on), on the right of the screen. Click this to open the next step.

5. Read the information and if you agree, select the consent box. You will then have the choice to select the different data options to download your raw data. 

N.B. If you are downloading your raw data to use on other DNA websites, you will need the autosomal (family ancestry) raw data file.
