Family Networks is now available to everyone who has uploaded raw data or taken a test with us, as part of our beta testing process.
Each person needs to give consent and opt-in for their DNA to be added to the database, so there will be people who have tested with Living DNA but not opted in. Your DNA cannot be matched with these people.
Once opted in your DNA is compared to everyone who is in the database, this is growing each and every day as we start to talk more about the service on Social media and continue to develop Family Networks in the beta interest is growing and as with all matching services, it can only improve over time.
Do you know anyone in your family who has existing data that you can invite to join and upload via your portal?
Once this has been done and you have both opted in at different times it is possible that you will not see the match until the next release of new members. If it's been longer than two weeks since you both opted in please let us know the testing refs for you both and we can investigate further.
If you do not have other known family members who have tested with us and opted in it is possible that you may not have any matches until our database grows.
All new members are released into the pool every two weeks and the matching algorithms are run after this so it's worth checking in to your portal every three weeks or so.
