If you would like to save or print your results we have a couple of options for you.
Option 1; Follow the steps below to take a "screenshot" of your results and then print them. A screenshot takes a picture of your screen, capturing all the content you need providing you with a saved copy on your device.
Please follow the steps below if you would like to do this.
Option 2; We now offer the option for our customers to purchase a "PDF" book of results for a small fee. You can find this option in your portal. Simply log in and go to the "store."
Taking a screenshot
Mac
If you are using an Apple Macbook, then you can screenshot your results by pressing the command, shift and 4 keys which will then change your mouse arrow into a target looking shape. You then drag over your ancestry percentage by clicking the area of your screen on your mousepad and when you release your mouse, this will then capture the screen and store it on your desktop which is now saved onto your device. You can then rename it and save it anywhere you like.
PC
If you are using a PC, have your results open ready on your screen and press the Print Screen (often shortened to “PrtScn”) key. It is typically located in the upper-right corner of your keyboard and will take a screengrab of everything on all of your displays. Alternatively, press Alt + Print Screen to capture a screenshot of the active window. If you’re on a laptop, you may need to press Fn + Print Screen or the Windows key + Print Screen if your laptop has another feature assigned to that particular key.
iPhone
If you are using an iPhone X, XS, 11 or 11 pro then you will then not have a home button on your device. To screenshot, you will need to hold down the upper arrow on the left hand side of your iPhone and the power button on the right hand side at the same time. You can then click done and save this screenshot to your device photos. If you have an older iPhone, then you need to press the home button at the bottom of the screen and the power button on the right hand side at the same time which will also allow you to save the screenshot.
