Whole account deletion will destroy your account, so you will no longer be able to log in to my.livingdna.com. To view the instructions on how to delete just one profile, please click here.
By deleting your account, the following information will be destroyed:
- All digital results visible to this account (e.g. ancestry estimations and wellbeing traits)
- Any applicable Family Networks data, including match list and message history
- Downloadable raw DNA data file
- Residual DNA sample stored by Living DNA's laboratory (if applicable)
- Digital purchases for this account, such as test upgrades
- Access rights for other users who can currently view this profile
- All account information
This will delete all profiles owned and managed by the email address.
To proceed with a whole account deletion, please take the following steps:
1. Sign in to your Living DNA portal.
2. Click on your profile picture on the top right of the screen - if you haven't uploaded a profile picture this will look like a light grey circle with a darker grey silhouette - and select Profiles
3. This loads your account details, with all of your profiles listed on the left of the screen.
4.Select the first ‘Delete’ button at the top right of your profile information.
5. Follow the steps, reading the information, and select 'Proceed with deletion', read the points on the next screen and request deletion.
6. Enter your password to confirm the request.
Note: If you have accidentally requested an account deletion instead of a profile deletion, please get in touch with our customer support team as soon as possible, so that we can attempt to reverse the request. This is a time sensitive issue, so please do not delay.
